Saeb Khasawneh

Saeb Ali Khasawneh is a Teacher Educator in the mathematics department- Teacher Education Professional Diploma (TEPD) at Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) in Amman, Jordan. Saeb has more than 20 years of experience in the education field at various national and international schools working as a Mathematics teacher and coordinator. Saeb has also worked as a vice principal in international schools/ American curriculum, and a mathematics training specialist at QRTA. Saeb has a Master’s degree in education specialized in evaluation and measurement. Currently, Saeb is a PhD student in Special Education at the World Islamic Science and Education University. He also has a fellowship in education from Harvard University- Graduate School of Education, Boston, USA. Saeb is interested in teaching methods of mathematics for elementary and high levels. In addition, he is interested in providing educational services for gifted students and students with special needs or difficulties. Presently, he is researching the fundamentals of establishing hybrid schools to combine all students including students with difficulties or special needs and/or gifted students. He believes in teaching according to standard-based education that leads to giving a bigger role to students to own their learning process and identify their needs.
