The English Network is a subject specific program specialized in building the capacity of English language teachers in teaching the four language skills, reading, writing, listening and speaking, for grades (4-10). The main modules in this program were developed according to the latest international strategies in teaching reading and writing skills in cooperation with the University of Colombia, regional, and local programs. The teachers participating in this program will acquire the knowledge and skills of a successful reader and creative writer, as well as the communication skills which will enable them to transfer the knowledge and skills to their students in the classroom.
