Upgrading and Scaling Up Psychosocial Intervention in Jordan

DESCRIPTION
This training program aims to promote the concepts of mental health and psychosocial well-being in the Jordanian schools, to face the challenges in the learning process after the Corona pandemic, and to address the psychological effects of the pandemic on both teachers and students, by building a safe and supportive learning environment, and empowering teachers with concepts of mental health and psychological well-being. The program also aims to provide teachers with the knowledge, skills and applications that enable them to provide appropriate psychosocial support to students to overcome anxiety and tension resulting from new learning conditions and help them to adapt positively to these conditions and the changes that occur in the learning environment and new learning standards. This training program is in line with the national standards for the professional development of teachers issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Education
