This diploma is structured to enhance existing educational practices, leveraging AI-driven tools, assessment techniques, and collaborative learning to create a dynamic, interactive teacher training experience. With a rigorous yet flexible structure, it accommodates teachers across different subject areas, enabling them to refine their expertise, experiment with new teaching methodologies, and build sustainable professional networks through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
LEARNING OUTCOMES
• Possess a good understanding of key aspects of learning and teaching in schools including pedagogic content knowledge.
• Evidence a critical understanding of learning and teaching, enabling them to devise and sustain cogent 1 arguments and reflect on the professional challenges faced by teachers.
• Have developed a conceptual understanding of their own practice and that of others in relation to current research in teaching, learning, pedagogy and practice in education.
• Have demonstrated the ability to manage their own learning and reflect on their practice in light of scholarly reading and discussion so as to improve educational outcomes for their learners.
• Are able to consistently demonstrate the professional competencies set out in the Teachers’ Standards.
• Have demonstrated an ability to be creative, independent and successful in the application of knowledge in teaching and other work with a range of learners and colleagues.
