This program presents a model for sustainable professional development based on global educational research, advancements and best practices in science teaching and learning. Professional development activities include specialized workshops that adopt teaching approaches derived from the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). This includes STEAM education and the 5E inquiry-based teaching model
