DESCRIPTION
The "Nama’a" program aims to empower the school team, consisting of the principal, the educational counselor, and teachers, to analyze the school's needs in the context of social-emotional learning and plan to build practices that support the development of social-emotional learning skills at the classroom and school levels. It also seeks to enhance these skills among students and school staff while raising awareness of their importance among parents and the community.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Apply practices that promote the holistic development of students in teaching and learning for grades 1 to 10.
- Recognize the developmental characteristics of students within the framework of holistic growth.
- Understand the theoretical principles underlying social-emotional learning (SEL).
- Strengthen the integration of SEL practices to support students' holistic development in grades 1 to 10.
- Design social-emotional learning activities as part of the school development plan.
- Establish effective learning communities focused on social-emotional learning.
- Use SEL strategies to address and manage students' behavioral challenges.
